I swung on a trapeze

Hello all,
I took my troop down to artsports for some well earned r and r.
They earned money by pimping cookies to the masses, we all get r&r.
It is a place with trampolines, and foam pits and trapezes...
So, in the spirit of 'good fun', I got on one and flung myself into a foam pit, twice.
I had a great time.
I weighed in this morning at 161.
One pound more till I hit my goal for the month.
That being said...I ate too much pizza and am sitting at 1850 calories for the day..
so diet fail, living win.
Back op tomorrow. at 1400 calories...
Back to the gym.
Back to getting to 160 lbs.
by April 30th.
Wish me luck.
Hugs,
Chris

ahha,
I have proof of her swing into the pit of doom, filled with foam.
I'll have to send the photo so she can post it for you all.

It was fun, glad the girls had a great time too.
Think we need to take the kids there a few times this summer, what'ca think?

Maybe you can get a little more practice diving to your doom. ;}

I think we buned a good 100 calories trying to get OUT Of the pit.

See ya tomarrow.

You are one of the few people who do not need luck- you are doing it the right way. :) You go girl!

Dude...that is AWESOME!! I want to do that. Can you believe you are not afraid to do things like that now? You are so inspiring, you give the best advice and leave the best comments. And 1800 calories? It could be so much worse. Just think of the extra calories your trapezing burned off. I call it wash....and so worth it.

That sounds like so much fun!

You'll totally reach your goal by April 30th. One high calorie day isn't going to spoil your success. :)

Sounds like a fun spot.

Hey Chris, I have a small favor to ask you. Could you e-mail me and I can fill you in on the details? I promise, it's a teeny tiny favor.

Sounds like fun for all! Off the trapeze and into a foam pit. Totally awesome stuff Chris.

I am confident you will reach your goal.

That sounds like so much fun! Wish we had something like that around here. You can so reach your goal by April 30th...determination should be your middle name! Way to go! :-)

Sounds like you had a fun day. I did too yesterday. :) Just haven't blogged about it yet.
I replied to your last comment on my blog btw on the "mom" one. :)

I was going to say kind of what TJ said... luck has nothing to do with it! You will make it, no problemo, because you will make the choices that will make it happen.

So instead of saying good luck, I'll say what Sean says: good choices!

A trapeze! Can you see yourself doing that a year ago?!!

I've done that before - pretty neat!

When I was younger I climbed up this telephone pole looking thing (I was strapped into a harness of course) and stood on this three foot long board. They said, walk to the end and jump onto the trapeze bar....yeah, didn't make it! It was fun though. the pit was much more fun though.

Go 160!

what makes me feel bad is that you went zooming past my weight>>>i was 208 and came down to 164 and have stayed since january>>>makes me feel kind of bad that you hacve raced right on by without saying hello

It was fun watching you and Amber do the Trapeze (if it would've been me it would be called the TraPEES! Suppose that's why I didn't give it a go!)

Chris,
Isn't it wonderful to be able to actually play with your kids? I really miss that now but when Amber was growing up I was able to play with them in alot of different active activities and I couldn't have done it if I'd been overweight or even like now when I'm not healthy and strong enough to join in. But at least I am able to take pictures. :)
