you have to create a calorie deficit to lose weight.
Don't trade what  you really want for what you want right now.
It's not worth it.
Turn around and walk away.

some NIT.

You slay me.

Now this is an honest question from someone who doesn't know any better and isn't calorie counting, so don't go all ninja on me... is unbuttered popcorn really such a terrible snack? If so, I stand corrected. Or does the problem lie in the fact that it is a trigger and it leads to buttered popcorn? Help me follow the logic here...

I am the nit that brings home the things in our house. I am just getting back on the road to where I want to be. I have taken a long detour after getting most of the way there. I used to read your blog before my detour and I am pleased to see you are still here because you inspire me.

@ Robin- may I offer some explanation from a fellow food addict? Some things just cause a major overeating episode for some people. It's a trigger. For some it is the food itself in certain forms. For others, like me, it is a stressful phone call from a sibling that makes all food in the house into radioactive food addict bait that must be eaten- NOW!
Just my take on the issue at hand. I'm sure Christine has her own good information on this.

Love that you make this about your own choices and not in blaming the NIT, even though it would feel really good at times to do just that.

lol...popcorn...I don't eat unbuttered popcorn...I eat it buttered WITH parmesan cheese....if for some reason it is unbuttered, I will butter it...If it is there, I will eat it..all of it..however much I can....jasmine couldn't be more right.

Thank you ladies for this explanation. Sometimes it is difficult for me to keep up. I do try. And I am learning.

BTW, Chris, I tagged you again in my Thursday post. Did you ever get to watch the stuff from LAST Thursday???
